MOROCCO IT Meetings Forum 2022

The third edition of Morocco IT Meetings took place from November 15th to 17th, 2022, at Palmeraie Rotana Resort in Marrakech.

The event welcomed 420 participants, including 250 Moroccan IT decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs, Directors of Network Infrastructure, Directors of Digital Strategy), and 52 partners specializing in the fields of Data, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.

The B2B meetings aimed to facilitate meaningful connections between industry professionals, allowing for fruitful discussions and the exploration of potential collaborations. By participating in these meetings, attendees can gain valuable insights and guidance from experienced experts, enhancing their understanding of the latest trends and technologies relevant to their respective fields.

• A total of 9,500 contacts were made among all participants.

• 2,700 badges were scanned during the Event

The 6th edition of Les Assises de l'AUSIM, was held from October 26th to 28th, 2022, and it undoubtedly stood out as the major event in the industry this year.

After a hiatus of 4 years, the highly anticipated gathering brought together the national and international elite of the digital realm in the ochre city of Marrakech for an eventful 3 days. With a rich and unprecedented program, the aim was to position Morocco as a future "Digital Nation" in Africa.

This 6th edition, with the theme "Digital Nation: Unleash the Potential!", was exceptional in various aspects, signifying the reinforced trust in this essential event within the ecosystem. The notable participation of government dignitaries, the engagement of 1200 digital stakeholders, and the backing from 39 sponsors and 17 startups all served as compelling testimonials to this trust.

The official participation was distinguished by the presence of esteemed speakers, including Madame Ghita MEZZOUR, Minister in charge of digital transition and administrative reform, and Mr. Younes SEKKOURI, Minister of economic inclusion, small businesses, employment, and skills. Their speeches emphasized the pivotal role that digital plays in addressing socio-economic challenges, while highlighting the national ambition to leverage digital as a catalyst for achieving strategic objectives.

Nevo Technologies team had the full opportunity to assist and participate in an extensive scientific program. It was an incredibly enriching experience for our team to be a part of such an esteemed event and to exchange knowledge with experts from around the world. The exceptional second edition of Morocco IT Meetings brought together 400 participants, comprising over 200 Moroccan IT decision-makers, such as CIOs, CISOs, Directors of Network Infrastructure, and Directors of Digital Strategy. Furthermore, the event featured 61 specialized exhibitors in the domains of Cloud, Data, and Cybersecurity.

The forum addressed various contemporary topics, including the human element as a pivotal player in digital transformation, budgetary challenges confronting IT departments and the shift from CAPEX to OPEX, emerging challenges in cybersecurity, digital transformation in the era of remote work, the post-COVID ransomware landscape, and the legal framework of trust as outlined in law 43-20.
